Calling All Pharmacist! This posting encompasses all Pharmacist positions within Interior Health. We have a variety of permanent, relief and casual Pharmacist positions available. Interior Health Pharmacy is a regional program serving patients, residents and clients across the southern interior of the province.
The hourly rate of pay includes:
• Pharmacist 1 & 2: $51.37 - $64.19
• Pharmacist 3: $57.45 - $71.77
• Pharmacist 4: $59.05 - $73.76
• Pharmacist 5: $61.31 - $76.58
• Pharmacist 6: $63.63 - $79.47
• Pharmacist 6 +5%: $66.81 - $83.44

Qualifications
Pharmacist:
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC; and
• For out-of-province pharmacists, please refer to BC College of Pharmacists website for registration process.
Clinical Pharmacist:
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia;
• Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1); OR
• A combination of at least one year of full-time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses; OR
• A combination of at least 3 years of full-time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge, and experience.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
Clinical Practice Leader:
• Graduation from an accredited faculty of Pharmacy program and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia;
• Successful completion of a Canadian hospital pharmacy residency program;
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized university;
• Five years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, including two years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience; and
• Eligible for membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
Professional Practice Leader:
• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized College of Pharmacy;
• Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC;
• Successful completion of Departmental Management Program Certificate CHA or HDM or equivalent course; and
• Minimum of five years hospital pharmacy experience and two years’ related management experience.
