We have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Full Time Shift Coordinator, Registered Nurse at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C! This position works rotating Days and Nights and shift times are 07:15 to 19:15, 19:15 to 07:15 Rotating.
Position End Date: September 16, 2024 or until return of Incumbent

What will you work on?
The Shift Coordinator is responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during evenings, weekends and night shifts. Acts as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
