Your Role:
In alignment with our organization's vision and values, the Maintenance Supervisor III oversees Plant & Maintenance functions in Fernie, BC. This role involves supervising designated trades staff, ensuring efficient coordination of maintenance activities, and performing trades duties at a journeyman level in various areas such as carpentry, millwright, machining, plumbing, fitting, or welding. Responsibilities also include reviewing work requests, coordinating projects with user departments, and overseeing equipment maintenance to optimize operational efficiency and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years recent related experience including two years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as carpenter, millwright, machinist, plumber, fitter or welder recognized by the Province of British Columbia.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
