Position Summary
We are seeking to expand the Medical Imaging team in the Revelstoke area and invite applications from Medical Radiography Technologists (MRTs)
This position is a Permanent Part Time (0.81 FTE) .Shift types are days and evenings with the shifts times being 07:30 to 15:30, 12:00 to 20:00, 10:00 to 18:00 . Rotation includes days, evenings, weekends and On call. There is an option to work in more than one Interior Health site within surrounding communities including Salmon Arm and Vernon.
What Will You Work On?
The Medical Imaging department at Queen Victoria Hospital recently received an upgrade to retrofit our general X-ray room to digital detectors. We also have a digital mobile x-ray unit. Medical Imaging staff work with a broad demographic of patients including inpatient and outpatients. We provide general x-ray services to ER, OR and Acute Care including the nursery, and the adjacent long term care centre.

Effective April 01, 2024, the hourly wage will be $36.69 to $45.81 per hour.

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
