Position Summary
We are looking for a confident RN (DC2A) with strong acute care leadership skills, to join our team as a Relief Part-Time Shift Coordinator at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
As the Shift Coordinator you would be responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts. The Shift Coordinator is a key clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels, bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shifts.
This is a relief part-time position until October 31st, 2024, or return of incumbent.
Shift times are rotating days and night - 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15.

Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current CPR certificate.

***Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage will be $49.20 to $58.68 per hour.
