Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiology Technologists to join Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) Medical Imaging department. Located in beautiful Kelowna BC, KGH is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs exams and special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional radiology, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedures, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding exams and procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a qualified technologist who has excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. The successful applicant must be able to work independently but also have great team work.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.

Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Comments

Effective April 1, 2023, the hourly rate for this position will be: $36.96 - $46.13. These are unionized positions under the HSA bargaining unit.
