About the Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
• Performs assessments and plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; the scope or extent of the skills that the LPN performs varies according to the predictability of the outcome for a given client population
• Administers oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage for this position will be $32.84 to $41.35

Lytton: The Village of Lytton is in Nlaka’pamux Territory, in the B.C. Interior, located where the green
waters of the Thompson River meets with the brown, silt-laden flow of the Fraser River. It sits at
the confluence of the Thompson and Fraser rivers, and is the connection point between
Highway 12 and the Trans-Canada Highway. Lytton is surrounded by forests of ponderosa pine
and Douglas fir, sagebrush and rabbitbrush, and soapberry and saskatoon bushes. The hills are
rich with diverse wildlife and the rivers are rich with salmon. The Coast, Cascade, and Clear
mountain ranges meet here, and the dry climate contributes to the intense summer heat that
Lytton is known for.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
• Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
