About the role:
The Manager, Sexual & Reproductive Health provides advice to the Director, Population Health and others in the organization on sexual and reproductive health related initiatives, services and programs across the care continuum.
Leading a team of staff with subject matter, practice and implementation expertise, and working with partners external to IH, within, and across organizational portfolios, the Manager recommends strategies, plans quality improvement initiatives, leads their implementation, monitors, and reports on their progress. The Manager is responsible for implementation and evaluation of the Interior Health Sexual and Reproductive Health Plan (the SR Plan), a new initiative created to meet provincial, organizational and program outcomes. The Manager functions in a collaborative way, building strong relationships with operational leaders, Aboriginal and community partners to understand service needs and ensures plans are comprehensive and informed by meaningful partner engagement, practice and scientific evidence and include an equity lens. The Manager will work collaboratively with the Director and Medical Health Officers in the development and implementation of the SR Plan.
This is a regional role within Population Health and endeavours to ensure consistency, accessibility, relevance and applicability of portfolio programs, projects and activities across all Health Service Delivery Areas.

Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in a clinical health-related discipline. Master’s degree in public health, administration, education or related field preferred.
• Five years recent, related public health experience, including two years managing staff.
• Two years’ experience working within the area of sexual and reproductive health.
• An understanding of the principles of health promotion and prevention, knowledge of directly relevant public health programs.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current registration with relevant professional organization or association preferred.
Comments
Salary range for the position is approximately $102,938 to $147,974 and starting salary will be based on education, training and experience.
