The Pharmacy Team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital is looking for a new Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team! Are you looking to work at the leading edge of healthcare and advance your career? If so, we have a wonderful relief full time opportunity for you!
The pay scale for this position is $51.37 - $64.19.
As the Clinical Pharmacist you will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the acute care and residential care environment. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and recommending individualized treatments. The duties includes acting as the primary resource for drug information, education and providing expert advice to health care professionals. Monitoring drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs will be required. This position is responsible for maintaining workload records and statistics.
This is a relief full time position until return of the incumbent. This position works day shifts with shift times of 08:00 to 16:00 and 09:00 to 17:00.

Qualifications
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1); OR
A combination of at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses; OR
A combination of at least 3 years of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
