The pharmacy team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Kamloops. We have a relief full time opportunity that works rotating day and evening shifts.

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, you will process medication orders that are clinically reviewed for therapeutic appropriateness and approved by a Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician receives verbal and non-verbal prescriptions from practitioners and ensures that prescriptions are complete and authentic. The duties include preparing, processing and compounding prescriptions. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions prepared by self or others by verifying order entries and/or performing the final check of dispensed prescriptions.
The payrate for this position is $34.18 per hour.
This position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits program and up to $7,850 relocation support for new employees relocating over 40km.

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
