Position Summary
Interior Health has an opportunity for a casual CLXT to join the Radiology team at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, B.C. !

The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The CLXT also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between 0 and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. Effective April 01, 2024 – the hourly wage for CLXTs will be $36.69 - $45.81
This position can work days, evenings with the hours being between 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 16:00 to 00:00, 09:30 to 17:30.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program.
Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
