Position Summary
Joining us at Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre you’ll play a pivotal role within a coordinated approach to healthcare delivery and assisting clients who need to see a healthcare provider within 12 to 24 hours.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join Ashcroft’s Urgent and Primary Care team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes. This position works 08:00 to 16:00 hours Monday to Friday.

About Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) | This Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC) offers team-based care for individuals in Ashcroft and surrounding communities who need same-day attention for non-emergency health concerns. Using a collaborative approach, our team of healthcare professionals works together to ensure that clients receive the most appropriate care based on their specific needs. Depending on the nature of the illness or injury, clients may be seen by a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, or other specialized professionals, such as a physiotherapist, mental health worker, or social worker, to provide comprehensive, timely care.

Qualifications
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s license where required.

Hourly rates of pay: $42.56 to $52.95
