Position Summary

Our emergency department is a fast paced, dynamic work environment that promises to provide a variety of challenging patient care experiences with the latest technological advances. The department consists of a 2 bay trauma room, 6 stretchers, Fast Track area with 6 exam rooms (plus 3 chairs), 4 specialty/procedural rooms, a seclusion room and the department handles 15,000 patients a year.

KBRH have completed a $16 million dollar expansion that was completed in the Spring of 2020.

This is a Temporary Part-Time (0.75 FTE) opportunity until June 24, 2024, or the return of the incumbent, working rotating days and nights with shift times of 06:50 to 19:17 and 18:50 to 07:17. Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the
British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.

Comments

Effective April 1, 2023, the hourly rate for this position will be: $40.21-$57.78
