Position Summary
If you have great communication skills and the ability to multitask, we have a wonderful career opportunity for you as a Home Health Nurse. This relief full time position is located in Kamloops BC at the North Hills Care Centre. This position is until May 27, 2024 or return of incumbent.
As the Home Health nurse, you will support the client’s achievement of safe, realistic and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client. Working in collaboration with the client, family and other care providers you will develop, implement and adapt a care plan, deliver direct care, assess service eligibility and provide care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting.
This position will be part of a nursing dyad covering North and South Shore Kamloops Community, including Thompson Park Mall, North Hills Care Centre, Ponderosa Lodge and Royal Inland Hospital. Duties include, but are not limited to, palliative care, case management, wound care, parenteral therapies and general nursing tasks.
Shift times are 08:00 to 16:22.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Candidates must also hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
