Interior Health is seeking a reliable and flexible Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team at the Ashcroft Hospital and Health Centre in beautiful Ashcroft, B.C.

Put your nursing skills into full motion and join the passionate and welcoming nursing staff at Ashcroft Hospital and Health Centre. We are looking for a self-directed, motivated, reliable and flexible Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team.
As the Home Health Nurse, you will support the client’s achievement of safe realistic and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client. In collaboration with the client, family and other care providers you will develop, implement and adapt a care plan, deliver direct care, assess service eligibility and provide care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting.
This position will cover Ashcroft and Clinton.
This is a permanent part-time (0.80 FTE) opportunity.
Shifts of work are rotating days from 8:30 to 16:30.
Accommodation may be available at this site for the Home Health Nurse.
About this location/unit:
Ashcroft/CC: Ashcroft and Cache Creek are small communities with one of the best climates in BC, having mild winters, and warm summers, with little precipitation. The mountains are only a few miles away. Skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, and biking opportunities are within easy drives. While the health site is located in and named after the Ashcroft community (population 1,800), the Village of Cache Creek (population 1,200) is 10 km away. The site provides service to both communities and the surrounding area, a total population of approximately 7,000.

Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Candidates must also hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
