Interior Health has an opportunity for a patient focused team player to fill a Critical Care Nursing opportunity that we have within our expanding team here at Kelowna General Hospital.
Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) Multi-System ICU department consists of 19 patient care beds. RNs work 11.25 hour shifts and there are 14 on day shift and 13 on night shift.
This is a Casual Opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Casual employment includes: short-notice, on-call availability; workload coverage during a temporary absence; and/or providing relief coverage in a specific position. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions. Graduation as a Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Advanced preparation in a critical care clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 3 years.
Effective April 1, 2023, the hourly rate for this position will be: $40.21-$57.78
