This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. A Class 4 Driver’s License is required for this position.
Working in accordance with established vision and values of the organization and as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Program Coordinator I/Rehabilitation Assistant plans, develops, implements and evaluates a variety of recreational/leisure programs designed to support residents’/clients’ health and well-being in Long-term Care, acute and/or adult day program settings. In accordance with facility/site requirements supervises designated staff, students and volunteers. Carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech Language Pathologist) in monitoring and evaluating residents’/clients’ progression.

• Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• A valid Class 4 vehicle driver’s license is required
