As we look to the future, IH is shifting toward a more culturally-competent focus both in our hospitals and out in the community, to better serve Aboriginal Peoples within the Southern Interior region. Interior Health remains committed to the goal of reaching a representative Aboriginal workforce reflective of Aboriginal populations in the Southern Interior region, and ensuring that we hire and retain Aboriginal people at all levels of the organization – from front line to leadership.

Make Sure you are eligible to apply as an Aboriginal applicant:

In order to qualify for one on one support from our Aboriginal Career Specialists you must identify as Aboriginal; North American Indians or Aboriginal/Indigenous people include First Nations (status and non-status), Métis and Inuit people. Only those Aboriginal persons who come from Canada and the United States should identify themselves as belonging to this designated group.
