Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is seeking to expand its Respiratory Team and is inviting applications from Respiratory Therapists (RTs) interested in Casual employment.
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Shifts will include a mix of weekdays, weekends, days, and nights. What Will You Work On?
Staff support all areas; thus adding variety and experience to the position. We provide Respiratory Therapy services in a multi-disciplinary setting for a variety of patient illness and diseases. You will be instrumental in growing our roll in the following areas: ICU ER Wards Pulmonary Function Lab Cardiac Stress Lab Bronchoscopy Lab.

How Will We Help You Grow?
ACLS/PALS/NRP/BLS provided. Orientation will be customized to each new employee’s needs. You will receive on going mentorship from all staff and the Respiratory Therapy Professional Practice Leader (PPL). You will be encouraged to attend conferences as well as on going training.
The ability to work in all areas of Respiratory at one site, within a supportive, inclusive team focused environment.
Who Are We Looking For?
An independent, passionate, team player that wants to grow themselves, the department, and the profession. Organized, with the ability to prioritize in coming work. Strong communication skills, life long learner.
• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
• Recent acute/critical care experience.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
