Position Summary

If you are passionate about public practice and seeking opportunity for a Home Health setting we would love to hear from you for our Casual Physiotherapist opening.

We are a team of 10+ Physiotherapists who work at Penticton Health Centre. A Home Health position supports people with certain health issues, age-related limitations or other disabilities to continue living at home safely and independently. This position may also include involvement with the Quick Response Team (QRT). Quick Response Teams are a community based form of specialized community service programs comprising of a coordinated care model of interdisciplinary health professionals that have a strong link between acute and community based services.

Shift times are either 08:00 to 16:00 hours or 09:00 to 17:00 hours and may be offered during weekdays and weekends. Casual employment provides relief in positions occupied by regular full time and regular part time employees. This includes short-notice, on-call shifts to covering in a specific position. Local travel is required within this role in the surrounding area. Access to personal vehicle will be required; a valid Driver’s License is necessary.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license required.
