Position Summary
Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) in Vernon, BC is seeking applications from Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to join their dynamic Medical Imaging team. This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity where the Sonographer will work day and evening shifts from 07:45 to 16:46 or 16:46 to 22:00. This position includes evening call rotation.
What Will You Work On?
The Medical Imaging Department consists of 4 general ultrasound rooms and 3 echo rooms. Services at VJH include: Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine. General sonographers at VJH work on Philips and Canon equipment while Cardiac sonographers work on GE equipment.

Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (Generalist) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
