Position Summary
Are you an LPN with experience in Hemodialysis and looking to join a great team? Interior Health is currently seeking a Hemodialysis Licensed Practical Nurse to join the passionate, energetic care team at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC.
As the Hemodialysis Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement and provide nursing care to patients/clients receiving hemodialysis. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the LPN – Hemodialysis provides practical nursing services during the pre-dialysis, intra-dialysis and post-dialysis periods. This position operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.
This is a PERMANENT FULL TIME opportunity working rotating days and evenings with shift times of 07:00 to 15:00, 11:00 to 22:58.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses with the full range of current licensed practical nursing competencies, and successful completion of a Health Authority Hemodialysis Training program plus one (1) year recent related experience working as a Licensed Practice Nurse in acute care, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Current CPR certification required

Effective April 1, 2023 - hourly rate $31.89 - $43.65 per hour.
