Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a reliable and flexible Registered Nurse to join our Surgical team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in beautiful Cranbrook, B.C. **THIS POSITION MAY QUALIFY FOR A $10,000 SIGNING BONUS!
The Registered Nurse:
• Provides nursing care to patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
This is a permanent part-time (0.58 FTE) opportunity.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
Located in Cranbrook, between Kimberley and Fernie, EKRH is a 75 bed regional referral centre for patients and smaller community hospitals throughout the designated health service area. EKRH offers physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, acute medical and surgical and obstetrical care as well as Lab services.
Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Comments
Effective April 1, 2023 - hourly rate $40.21-$57.78 per hour.
