Position Summary
We are looking for a confident RN (DC2) with strong acute care leadership skills, to join our team as a permanent full time Shift Coordinator at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
As the Shift Coordinator you would be responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts. The Shift Coordinator is a key clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels, bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shifts.
The ideal applicant will have outstanding clinical judgement, problem solving skills and an excellent ability to communicate with patients and team members and take decisive action in a front line leadership role. If this sounds like you or someone you know, then we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
