Position Summary
We are hiring casual experienced mental health nurses to join our amazing and cohesive team at Daly Pavilion located at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, B.C.
What will you work on?
The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides: nursing care to psychiatric patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team; enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers; demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice; maintains and advances own clinical competence; participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
Shift types are days and nights and shift times are from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is located in Trail, BC and the Daly Pavilion Psychiatry Unit has 12 beds.

Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved school of nursing and two years’ recent related experience in a mental health and addictions environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Effective April 1, 2023 - hourly rate $40.21-$57.78 per hour.
