We are currently seeking Long-term Care Nurses, Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join our team at the Hardy View Lodge in Grand Forks, B.C. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

What will you work on?
The RN or RPN practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN ensures the delivery of individual–centered care by assisting individual and their families respond to changing health care needs. The RN or RPN demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities. When scheduled this position works rotating shift types are days and nights; 07:00 to 15:00, 23:00 to 07:00. This is a casual position. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities
About this location/unit
Hardy View Lodge, located in Grand Forks at Boundary Hospital, embodies an individual-centered philosophy designed to support individuals’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. This facility is an 80 bed facility with five cottage style units. 60 beds are all individual with showers in the bathroom area. The 20 bed unit has two semi private rooms and the remaining 16 rooms are private.

Qualifications
-Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
-Post - basic education in gerontology an asset.
