Your Home Health nursing practice supports the client’s achievement of safe realistic and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client. Working in collaboration with the client, family and other care providers you will develop, implement and adapt a care plan, deliver direct care, assess service eligibility and provide care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Casual employment includes: short-notice, on-call availability; workload coverage during a temporary absence; and/or providing relief coverage in a specific position. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions. Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Candidates must also hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
* Certificates in mental health, palliative care, gerontology care, and wound care would be an asset.

Effective April 1, 2023, the hourly rate for this position will be: $40.21-$57.78
