This position works in the Acute Care areas of the hospital. Days of work are Mondays to Fridays and includes share with weekend work. Acute Care areas include medical, emergency, ICU, surgical floor and maternity/pediatrics. During the weekends, the Physiotherapist attends to patient priorities or assists with discharge plans.

You will help in providing treatment programs which allow clients to be safe and improve their quality of life. You will act as a physiotherapy resource for other members of the health care team. You will participate in approved physiotherapy and interdisciplinary research and special projects in collaboration with designated personnel/team and other health care professionals.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid Driver’s License as required.
