Position Summary
If rehabilitation nursing is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated Registered Nurse, we have a great opportunity to join our Rehab team at the Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.
What will you work on?
The Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
We currently have PERMANENT FULL TIME AND PART-TIME opportunities available. Shifts are rotating days and nights, 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our very busy inter-professional team to provide nursing care that assists medical and stroke rehabilitation clients in meeting their functional goals. Our rehab focused Nurses and wider team work cohesively with compassion to provide care and support to clients and their families and caregivers during their rehabilitation and transition to home.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Effective April 1, 2023, the hourly rate for this position will be: $40.21-$57.78
