Adult Day Service Worker

Position Summary

Do you have outstanding interpersonal skills, with an excellent ability to communicate with patients and team members? We are looking for a casual Adult Day Service Worker to join our team at Hardy View Lodge in Grand Forks.

As the Adult Day Service Worker you will be responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients by assisting them in carrying out established programs and activity of daily living tasks. You will transport clients to organized outings.

Possible shift times are days from Tuesday to Saturday from 08:30 to 16:30.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

• Grade 12;
• completion of a Resident Care Attendant Program;
• Two years recent related experience or a combination of education, training and experience;
• Food Safe Certificate;
• Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
