Interior Health is seeking a reliable and flexible Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Mental Health and Substance Use team at the Boundary Health Centre in beautiful Grand Forks, B.C.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a nurse passionate and experienced in Mental Health and Substance Use in the role of Nurse Prescriber! If you have two years related experience in Mental Health and Substance Use environment and would like to be a part of a supportive team environment while working autonomously, this is the position for you!

About the Job:

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Nurse Prescriber works as an integral part of an integrated mental health and substance use service. The Nurse provides services such as Opiate Agonist Therapies, support and recovery, substance use crisis support, episodic overdose prevention services and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic problem substance use.

This is a permanent part-time (0.50 FTE) opportunity with days of work being Tuesday to Thursday with shift times of 08:30 to 16:30, or 10:00 to 14:00.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
