Permanent 0.72 fte Shift Coordinator, Registered Nurse position available at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. Days of work are rotating Days and Nights and shift times are 06:00 to 18:00, 18:00 to 06:00.

The Shift Coordinator is responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during evenings, weekends and night shifts. Acts as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.

Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
