Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for hard working and dedicated Cleaners and Food Service Workers to fill multiple casual positions at Overlander Extended Care on the North Shore of Kamloops, B.C.!
The Casual shifts of this position include all of the following hours:
• Cleaner: 07:00 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 23:30
• Food Service Worker: 06:30 to 14:30, 07:30 to 15:30, and 15:30 to 19:30
• Casuals work on an as-needed basis and hours and shifts will vary week to week
• Casuals have the opportunity to apply on part time and full time positions internally
**Casuals have no guaranteed hours and are called on an as-needed basis, however, there are opportunities to secure permanent and/or temporary positions once employed as casual**
What Will You Work On?
This position performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient, resident, and client rooms along with washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.

Qualifications
Cleaner:
Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 10,
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment.
Food Service Worker:
Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 10,
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Food Safe Certificate
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment.
