Position Summary
We are seeking a Community Rehabilitation Assistant for a permanent full time opening with Nelson Home Support. Days of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
Effective April 1, 2023, hourly rates of pay: $27.76 to $30.06
This position works in home based rehabilitation with adults with a variety of physical disabilities. Under the direction of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists you will assist clients with activities of daily living, and implementing individual programs in clients’ homes and other community sites. Services offered are intended to allow clients to maximize their functional ability, remain at home and engage in meaningful activity.
We have a supportive team environment, access to learning opportunities, regular team meetings. We are seeking a strong communicator, ability to manage own caseload and plan own appointments around the community. Local travel is involved and access to a personal vehicle may be required.

Qualifications
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program plus one year’s recent related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
