Position Summary

East Kootenay Regional Hospital located in beautiful Cranbrook, B.C. currently has a permanent Part Time (0.46 FTE) Registered Nurse opportunity in our surgical nursing team.

What will you work on?
The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

About this location/unit
This is a 22 bed unit where nurses provide pre and post-operative care. Nursing shifts are rotating 12 hours, 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

**Previous surgical experience would be considered an asset.
