We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dedicated and supportive team at the Columbia View Lodge in beautiful Trail, B.C.
What will you work on?
The Maintenance Supervisor I is responsible for ongoing Plant & Maintenance functions; supervising maintenance workers and other designated staff; and performing related administrative functions. Performs trades duties approaching the journeyman level in a variety of trades areas in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
How will you create an impact?
Our plant services team is crucial to keeping the facility open and in excellent operation. As the successful applicant, you will supervise staff by performing duties such as scheduling and coordinating work assignments, evaluating employee performance, and determining related training and orientation requirements. You will also preform skilled work approaching journeyman levels in a variety of trades areas on systems and equipment such as autoclaves, washers, sterilizers and dryers by repairing and/or replacing items such as drive units, electric motors, control valves, seals and bearings. Maintains plumbing systems by repairing and/or replacing components and extending supply/waste lines.

Education, Training and Experience:
Grade 12 education plus five (5) years recent related experience including two years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
