Position Summary
If you are a motivated and reliable Medical Device Reprocessing Technician/Perioperative Aide with attention to detail and strong communication skills we would love to hear from you for our permanent, full time opening.
As a member of the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Medical Device Reprocessing Team, you will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment. You will restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas. You will support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.

Effective April 1, 2023, hourly rate of pay is $27.40.
Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Successful completion of Sterile Processing Course.
• One year’s recent related experience is an asset.
