We have a temporary full-time RN opportunity within Pre-surgical Screening/ Surgical Day Care at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. If you have three years of recent acute surgical nursing experience and would be an asset to our department, then apply today and join our amazing team! This relief opportunity is expected to go until October 23, 2023, or the return of the incumbent.
Based within our surgical day care unit, the RN provides nursing care and support for a variety of progressive surgical programs. At RIH there is a strong commitment toward staff development and encouraging growth and teamwork is an essential component of our daily activities.
Days of work are rotating and shift times are 07:30-19:30 and 19:30-07:30.

Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Current CPR certification.
Three years recent related experience in an acute surgical setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Previous experience in a surgical daycare setting is considered an asset.
