Position Summary

We have a rewarding temporary part-time (0.91 FTE) Home Health Nursing opportunity in Salmon Arm! This position will go until June 14, 2023, or the return of the incumbent.

Your Home Health nursing practice supports the client’s achievement of safe realistic and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client. Working in collaboration with the client, family and other care providers you will develop, implement and adapt a care plan, deliver direct care, assess service eligibility and provide care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting.

Shifts are rotating days, with shift times of 08:00 - 16:00, and also includes some evenings on call, rotating within the team.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Candidates must also hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.

Certificates in mental health, palliative care, gerontology care, and wound care would be an asset.
