Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) opportunity now available at the 100 Mile District General Hospital! This is a casual position offering day and evening shifts plus on-call from 23:30 to 07:30.
As an MLT you will work independently within our supportive and small team environment. This is a generalist Lab position and offers interesting and varied work within the Core Lab. Typical duties may include: routine and/or complex tests utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments, greeting patients, collecting and/or receiving specimens, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), validating/reporting test results, maintaining instruments and preparing solutions and control agents.

• Graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Science Program
• Current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS) and/or CSMLS
• One (1) year recent related experience preferred
