As a member of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Medical Device Reprocessing Team, MDRTs and Perioperative Aides play an integral role in supporting quality patient care. Your work includes a wide variety of tasks and requires excellent problem solving abilities.
MDRTs and Perioperative Aides perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment. You will restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas. You will support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.

• Grade 12
• Successful completion of Sterile Processing Course.
• One year’s recent related experience is an asset.
