Nurse Practitioner - Cranbrook (Ktunaza Nation)

Position Summary

In partnership with the Ktunaxa Nation, Interior Health is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a permanent part time (0.80 FTE) basis in Cranbrook, B.C.

This exciting Nurse Practitioner position will provide comprehensive primary care, in an established and welcoming environment, with a priority focus on clients that are members of the Ktunaxa Nation living in Cranbrook and surrounding areas, as well as occasional in-reach to other band clinics in the local area. Working with 2 other NPs in the same primary care clinic within the Ktunaxa Nation building, you will see patients of all ages and through all stages of illness. You will collaborate with various community agencies, surrounding Aboriginal communities and the inter-professional health care team to provide comprehensive, holistic patient centered health care that is delivered in a culturally safe way.

Medical Office Assistant services are provided in partnership with Ktunaxa Nation.

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience:
• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
