Interior Health is recruiting a Physiotherapist for a relief full time position at the Kelowna Primary Care Network. This position will provide coverage until the return of incumbent. Shifts will be Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:00 or 08:30 to 16:30.
What Will You Work On?
Join a multidisciplinary team consisting of general practitioners, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, dieticians, social workers, respiratory therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Primary Care Networks are part of a comprehensive strategy to transform BC’s health system by bringing together and co-ordinating with health-care providers, services and programs to make it easier for people to access care, receive follow-up and connect to other services they may need.
How Will You Create Impact?
In this role, the Physiotherapist provides physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes

We have a staff of 3 PCN therapists in 3 HUBS in Kelowna, Rutland and West Kelowna. This position is in the Primary Care HUB 2, located at the Capri Centre in Kelowna covering chronic disease management clients affiliated and attached to a Primary Care Physician contracted in the Network.
