Position Summary
We have casual opportunity for a Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at the Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in Kamloops, B.C.
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. What Will You Work On?
The Medical Radiography Technologist performs radiographic/fluoroscopic, CT Scans and related duties working in conjunction with radiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is an Interior Health tertiary referral hospital. Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services.
The Medical Imaging department operates 24 hrs/day seven days a week with shifts covering the 24 hr period. RIH provides approximately 46,000 x-ray exams per year. This includes speciality procedures such as Fluoro, injections, drainages, and OR procedures.
How Will We Help You Grow?
We have an excellent team, including seven Radiologists on site daily. All of our Interior Health sites are connected through our regional PACS System (Picture Archive and Communication System) and integrated into our single Electronic Health Records, providing real-time patient histories anywhere within Interior Health. We have clinical advisory groups that are working together to ensure best practice throughout Interior Health.

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
