Interior Health is seeking a relief, part-time Shift Coordinator, Registered Nurse position at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, B.C. until September 2023 or return of incumbent. Days of work are rotating and shift times are 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.

The Shift Coordinator is responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during evenings, weekends and night shifts. Acts as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Three years’ recent related clinical experience and two years’ recent supervisory experience in a complex health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
