We have an exciting relief part time (0.82 FTE) opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Network team at our 100 Mile Hospital in B.C. This relief is until December 21, 2022 or return of the incumbent.
What will you work on?
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Nurse works as an integral part of an integrated mental health and substance use service. The Nurse provides urgent outreach, responsive assessment and treatment, case management, GP shared care, education, and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use.
This position works closely with primary care providers; supports OAT clinics, fills in any gaps as per their discipline within the department.
Days of work are Tuesday to Friday. Shift types are days and shift times are from 08:30 to 16:30 hours.

Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Current valid B.C. driver’s license.
