Physiotherapist | Outpatient and Long-Term Care

Position Summary

This is a 0.9 FTE Permanent Part-Time Physiotherapy position in the beautiful rural North Okanagan. The position includes every second Friday off and no weekends or statutory holidays, offering 33.75 hours per week and variety in the day-to-day.

Three days per week are in Armstrong at the Pleasant Valley Health Centre providing two days of Out Patient Physiotherapy and one day at Pleasant Valley Manor Long Term Care with an Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Assistant team. One day a week is in Enderby working in a Seniors in Motion program with an Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Assistant team. Every second Friday is in Enderby as well, working in Parkview Place Long Term Care with an Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Assistant team.

We will provide you with an orientation customized to meet your needs, as well as immediate support and access from excellent colleagues and the Physical Therapy Professional Practice Leader. Library Services are available to support evidenced-based practice/research and educational opportunities, such as iLearns, in-house services, project assignments, etc, to support ongoing learning.

This position is suitable for a new grad or a seasoned therapist. We are seeking a Physiotherapist who works well within the team but also able to work independently with good people and communication skills. Ability to coach and educate clients. Willing to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license is required.
