Position Summary
We are hiring a casual Long Term Care Coordinator (LTCC) to join our team at Mill Site Lodge & Fischer Place in 100 Mile House.
Mill Site Lodge & Fischer Place in 100 Mile House, embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support resident’s choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. Mill Site Lodge and Fischer Place, a 79-bed facility equipped with services and staff devoted to a comfortable living environment. All rooms are private and are equipped with ceiling lifts. Our grounds offer beautiful courtyards and patios, and wildlife can often be viewed in the woods next to us.
The Long Term Care Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of day to day operations and quality resident care within a designated clinical area(s). This position supports the seamless movement of residents through the healthcare system and in accessing appropriate resources.
The LTCC also:
•Supervises as well as serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision-making, clinical assessments of residents and in the counseling and education of families.
• Reviews, analyzes and makes recommendations on the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of resident care, adequate staffing levels, and a continuous quality improvement environment.
• Liaises with the interdisciplinary team for identification, coordination and efficient utilization of resources as well as plans for staff educational needs.
Shift types are days and shift times are from 08:30 to 16:30 hours. Monday to Friday.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Three years of recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment.
Two years recent supervisory and teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
