We are seeking a registered nurse to fill an emergency nursing position we have within our team at Creston Valley Hospital in Creston B.C.

If you are an experienced registered nurse and would like to move into the emergency but do not have formal education, we would love to consider you for paid in-house emergency training. This training would require an 18-month return of service commitment. Emergency Nurse Orientation 3.0 online theory based modules are prerequisites to this line. These modules are 95 hours and the approximate completion time is 10 -12 weeks.
CVH is a rural acute care hospital with 20 inpatient beds and a 10 bed emergency department on a 12 hour shift day/night rotation. We have a dynamic team of RNs and LPNs working in a supportive learning environment and provide placements for the UBC and UBCO medical programs for medical students and residents. We provide 24/7 inpatient and emergency room care and there is physiotherapist, occupational therapist and dietitian services on site. The Operating Room is open 3 days a week.
Hours of work: Rotating Days, Nights – 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00. This training opportunity will start January 03,2023.

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
• ACLS and/or TNCC would be an asset.
