Temporary full time Registered Nurse-Cardiac Inpatient opportunity is now available at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. This position goes until October 25, 2025, or return of incumbent.

If cardiac inpatient nursing is your passion and you are trained in telemetry and are a reliable, flexible and motivated registered nurse, we have this great opportunity now available. 7N unit at RIH is a 38 bed acute general medical ward that specializes in cardiac patients.

What will you work on?
As the Registered Nurse you will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, to ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
Nursing shifts are 07:30 to 19:30 or 19:30 to 07:30 hours and shift types are days, nights.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Successful completion of a recognized Basic Cardiac Course (which includes telemetry) within the last six (6) months or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
BCLS within 3 years
